Jim Wynn was a river keeper on the River Wharfe in the Yorkshire Dales for many years until his death in 1974. Part One of this book introduces Jim Wynn and documents his unique collection of 83 fly patterns. He recorded these in two notebooks which came to light in 1992. Each pattern was specially tied and photographed to illustrate the book. Part Two explores the context of the Wharfedale landscape and fly-fishing traditions and is illustrated with photos of the Wharfe taken along its 60-mile course by the author.
